How to Operate Power Transmitter Receiver PTR 2244 Brand Spec Technology?

Spec Technology Corporation launched its latest product- Optical Transreceiver PTR 2244 in India. PTR stands for Power Transmitter Receiver. It is a transmitter as well as a receiver. It is used to generate power, give an optical signal and can also be used as a receiver. It gives out 35 volt DC and 2 amp power.  It can be operated in 4 ways.

  • It can be operated using 220 volt AC.
  • It can also be operated through 12 volt DC adapter.
  • Another way to turn it on is using reverse PSP.
  • Also, if you have a 12 volt DC adapter, it can also be operated through solar power.
PTR 2244 can also be used as a node by providing it optical input and it will give RF output. The 2 amp power generated by PTR 2244 can be used to operate any node, transmitter, amplifier or any similar product. This is one of its function.

This power transmitter can be operated through input ranging from 12 volt DC to 35 volt DC. When you check its response, you will find that the RF level remains constant even if the power given by the transmitter fluctuates( you can see in the video). This makes PTR 2244 one of the best power trans-receivers. Attenuators are given so that you can adjust power if needed.
  • Precaution :
One thing that you need to be careful about while using this product is that you cannot use it in two modes at the same time. You cannot give power and connect reverse PSP at the same time. If you want to operate it through 220 volt AC, you should not use reverse PSP. Similarly, if you want to operate it through reverse PSP, you should not operate it through 220 volts AC.
It is one of the best trans- receivers available in the market.
